Internally the property boasts impressive proportioned rooms throughout, including five double bedrooms, three characterful reception rooms, a large farmhouse style kitchen/breakfast room, impressive entrance hallway and a superb walled garden.

Throughout the property, a huge amount of thoughtfully considered interior design been has implemented by the current owners to perfectly the blend the original old world charm and features with more subtle modern decoration.

The three principal reception rooms comprise, a large living/drawing room with a magnificent local stone inglenook fireplace gracing one end of the room, which is complimented by rustic painted beams and a second original fireplace to the opposite end of the room which has been skilfully converted to house display shelving.

The dining room is every bit as impressive as the living room and packs more character in abundance, this atmospheric room is ripe for hosting intimate dinner parties or family occasions and enjoys a westerly outlook.

Another well proportioned room, it is currently utilised as the TV/Cinema room and hangout for the children and has a gorgeous bricked fireplace complete with the original bread oven.

As is the case with most family homes the kitchen is its heartbeat and with Elborough House there is no exception.

This traditional congregating point of the home is infinitely welcoming and atmospheric, from its solid timber units to its glorious pillar box red Aga (which would need to be serviced as the current vendors do not use it) .

There is plenty of room for a breakfast table and beyond the kitchen is a large side utility with w.c and boot room/Store.

On the first floor are the five individual bedrooms which are all doubles in size.

Access to each room is gained via a stunning galleried landing area which is perfect for reclining with a good book or perhaps utilising as a home office. There is also a handy linen cupboard.

The Master bedroom, as you might expect, continues the homes theme of comfort and luxury with a chic en-suite shower room and fitted wardrobes, along with an authentic period fireplace.

The four further bedrooms share use of a stylish family bathroom which features a classic white suite and tongue and groove panelled wall.

Outside, and to the rear of the house is an enchanting walled garden with a sunken shingle patio area which flanks the outer wall of the house and is ideally positioned for al fresco dining.

From the shingled patio area a stone step rises to a large and private level lawn, with a mature planted border displaying several impressive specimen trees and shrubs.

To the rear corner of the garden is an ornamental stone chipped area, perfectly situated to enjoy the dying embers of the setting sun whilst enjoying a G & T on a late summers evening.

As if all that came before was not enough to make this property hugely enticing, the incredible bonus of owning your own paddock opposite, complete with planning permission to convert the stone barn that sits within it to a two bedroom dwelling, surely makes 'Elborough House' a must see property.

OUR VENDOR SAYS -This is a wonderful family home, every room is full of character, and all are very spacious.

It's a perfect home for entertaining and is a place you will look forward to returning to time and time again.

We particularly enjoy the old style walled garden which has hosted many a bbq and family gathering.

The property is tucked neatly off the beaten track so remains relatively undiscovered and not overlooked.

Ideal for bringing up a family, enough space for everyone to spread out to enjoy their own company, or to be able to come together and join in. A home to make happy memories.

WE HAVE NOTICED -With entertaining space a plenty and more than enough room to spread out between the generations, this perfect family home would be the envy of your friends and family.

To add to this, the further scope to create a second dwelling in the paddock opposite makes the property perfectly suited to those looking for a home that could be used for co-habiting or for a dependent relative.
