Occupying an impressive plot of approximately 0.31 acres in the desirable village of Prestwick, Hawthorn Cottage presents a rare opportunity to acquire a substantial detached home with exceptional potential.

Offered for sale with no onward chain and by the Modern Method of Auction, this is an exciting renovation project ideal for buyers looking to create their dream home or for developers seeking a property with scope for further enhancement.

The property now requires comprehensive modernisation and refurbishment throughout, but offers generous accommodation, a superb plot and significant potential to add value.

The accommodation begins with an entrance hallway leading to two spacious reception rooms comprising a sitting room and a separate living room.

The kitchen opens into the dining area, creating an excellent footprint for redesign, whilst the conservatory overlooks the gardens and provides additional living space.

There is also a ground floor double bedroom, a useful boiler room and a lean-to storage area.

To the first floor are three further bedrooms, all enjoying attractive open views across the surrounding countryside, together with a family bathroom.
