Hill House, Orme Court, Hatfield, AL9 6BP

Open day Saturday 27th June - call to book your slot!

Welcome to Hill House When I first viewed this property I fell in love with the stunning exterior, a wow factor entrance and it only got better when I walked through the door.

Spacious and an abundance of light set in a fantastic village with a real sense of community I knew there and then this is it and all these years on I still love all this home has to offer.

Upon entering the property, you come through the private gates to the spacious driveway and garden, sunny peaceful and a wonderful space to relax and soak up some sunshine in the summer months.

Stepping through the front door you are greeted by a spacious welcoming hallway making you feel instantly at home leading through to the kitchen.

Immaculately presented, well equipped with all you need in a contemporary style. I have a breakfast bar which I love to enjoy my morning coffee looking out over the front.

Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area which is ideal for family dinners & entertaining guests.

Onto the lounge, triple aspect windows, bright, light and the perfect place for movie nights or curling up under a blanket with a good book. It is also ideal entertaining space.

I am sure you will agree when you come to view. I have a downstairs WC with a clean modern finish.

Upstairs and onto the landing, so generous in size I have added a desk and chair ideal for those work from home days! The master bedroom is yet again generous in proportion with an en-suite.

All in muted décor to add to the relaxed feel, with feature built in wardrobe.

I have two further bedrooms again of a good size, I have converted the third bedroom into my dressing room, but this can easily be used as a single bedroom as shown on the CGI image.

There is a family bathroom with bath and shower again styled in a modern finish. My home nestles in Essendon a peaceful village full of community spirit, with events all year around.

There are lots of country pubs offering delicious food as well as a golf course and country club.

We have our village church and a community hall as well as amenities on the doorstep with Tesco and an M & S food hall a few minutes away. I am in the catchment area to excellent local schools.

Despite being a tucked away village, it is only a few miles to the A1 and close to Bayford & Hatfield for those high-speed links into London within 30 minutes or less. Viewing highly recommended!

Agents’ opinion: When I arrived at this property it took my breath away, the gated entrance giving that sense of grandeur and the marvellous exterior this is a stunning family home.

The seller has meticulously decorated and much improved this family home – all I can say is book a viewing early to avoid disappointment because this won’t be on the market long!

I can’t wait to show you around.
