We've tightened what earns a Pursue. A home now needs a published valuation, a strategy that still makes money after real running costs and lender stress tests, and no listing problems that would stop a mortgage. You'll see fewer Pursues, and each one has been checked harder.

About
A charming 3-4 bedroom detached cottage near to the popular market town of Penicuik, with a large surrounding garden to include two garage stores/workshops.
Whitegate House resides only 3 miles south of the Edinburgh City Bypass, making it easily commutable into the city.
Situated on the southern fringe of the Pentland Hills, the area offers scenic views with beautiful walks direct from the door.
Although the property would now benefit from a degree of modernisation, the house offers picturesque ‘country cottage’ allure with double glazing throughout alongside spectacular views over the surorunding countryside.
Given the size of the plot as well as the adjoining garage, there should be potential to extend the footprint of the house (subject to planning).
