Description Beechurst is a delightful, well proportioned home with a rich history, in part dating from the 17th century with later 19th and 21st century additions.

Set in 1.2 acres on the edge of the village, the oldest part was originally two workers cottages, having oak beams, quarry tiles and a cosy feel; the 19th century Victorian extension, which once housed the village solicitor, has high ceilings, impressive leaded windows and staircase.

The 21st century modernisation and additions have created a light, flexible open plan living space, opening onto the garden with far-reaching views over the Weald.

Set in Cranbrook School catchment, this Grade II listed property which benefits from over 3,200 sq ft of internal accommodation is now coming to the market for the first time in nearly 30 years.

During this time the vendors have incorporated an excellent two storey extension including a glazed link and utility room.

The well established gardens surrounding the house, were professionally landscaped by an award-winning gardener. There are three south facing reception rooms.

Of particular note is the open plan kitchen/dining room, forming part of the extension carried out by the vendors.

The glazed rear hall/boot room links through to a utility room, fitted to match the kitchen, with butler sink, space for white goods and a WC.
