Description A truly exceptional country home, Creephole House is situated within the rolling Cotswold countryside between Tetbury and Chipping Sodbury, offering excellent road connections while enjoying a rural setting.

Positioned on the edge of the sought-after village of Didmarton, the property combines privacy with easy access to village life via nearby footpaths.

Built for workers of the Badminton Estate, this handsome period home has evolved into a substantial family residence, offering generous reception spaces and a wonderfully versatile layout.

With 23 solar panels on the south-facing roof and an EV charging point within the carport, Creephole House successfully blends period character with modern efficiency.

The cottage has been successfully used for short-term rentals and comprises an open-plan kitchen and dining room, a sitting room, a double bedroom with vaulted ceilings, and a shower room.

Extending to over 4,000 sq ft, the main house is thoughtfully arranged to balance formal and informal living.

The entrance hall leads to a selection of reception rooms, including a dining room, TV room, office and snug.

At the opposite end of the house, the welcoming kitchen features an aga and bi-fold doors opening onto a south-facing patio and the gardens beyond.

The kitchen flows seamlessly into a library/sitting room and a bright conservatory on the eastern elevation, which enjoys excellent natural light.

A utility room and two WC/cloakrooms complete the ground floor accommodation. Upstairs are five individually styled bedrooms, three with en suite facilities, together with a family shower room.

The impressive principal bedroom enjoys French doors opening onto a private balcony, while a second balcony opens from the en suite, both affording views across the gardens and fields beyond.

Sheltered within beautifully established gardens at the end of a country lane, Creephole House enjoys a setting that feels wonderfully secluded while remaining within easy reach of Didmarton's popular village pub and amenities.

One of only a handful of detached homes along the lane, the property is approached through private gates onto a gravel driveway providing extensive parking.

A detached outbuilding incorporates a garage, EV charging point and two carports, offering ample storage and covered parking.

The gardens envelop three sides of the house and include sweeping lawns, mature borders filled with shrubs and seasonal colour, and a variety of terraces positioned to capture both privacy and rural views.

Further highlights include a charming beach hut, summerhouse, productive kitchen garden, a potting shed and a wildflower meadow, creating an exceptional environment for keen gardeners and those seeking a connection with nature.

Creephole House is equally appealing for equestrian buyers.

Situated in a quiet rural location, it enjoys immediate access to a network of byways, bridleways and country lanes, providing excellent hacking opportunities.

The equestrian facilities include two acres of well-maintained paddocks enclosed by post-and-rail fencing, together with a timber stable block comprising three stables and a tack room set on a practical hard-standing yard.

Mature trees and hedging provide natural shelter, while one paddock benefits from a field shelter.
