Oaklands Close, Seaton, Devon, EX12 2UQ

A hugely improved detached bungalow with fabulous sea and estuary views, situated in a residential road about a mile from the town and sea front.

This beautiful home has undergone a large programme of work under the current ownership, which has transformed the property into the bright, contemporary home we see today.

Thought has been given to the main living spaces, with a large, lovely kitchen/dining room opening to a garden room at the back of the house.

There are fantastic countryside views towards Axminster from both rooms and a great feeling of space and light. This is a fabulous social space with plenty of room for friends and family.

Sliding doors from the kitchen open to a chic living room with wood burning stove and sea views from the front windows.

The hallway leads to an upgraded family shower room and three bedrooms, the master being at the far end of the hall.

On entering this room, the eye is immediately drawn to the window opposite which enjoys beautiful views to the Estuary and Axmouth. A further window to the front offers sea views.

There are built-in wardrobes and a contemporary en-suite bathroom to complete this lovely master suite.

At the front of the property is a block paved driveway providing parking for three vehicles and leading to the two garages, one of them particularly large.

Steps lead up to the front entrance and there is an area of attractive planting to the side.

A useful porch provides space for coats and shoes with the internal front door opening into a hallway with storage.

At the back of the property is a pretty garden, set on two levels with side access around to the front.

There are various seating areas to make the most of the sun and several planting beds well stocked with a variety of seasonal flowers and shrubs.

The property benefits from gas central heating, a new boiler having just been installed (June 25) and double glazing throughout.

Seaton is located at the mouth of the Axe Estuary, a haven for wild fowl, and adjoins the pretty Axmouth harbour.

The town offers a range of day to day needs including shops, cafes, doctors, banks, post office, primary school and even a hospital.

The mile long shingle beach features a long level pedestrian promenade overlooking Lyme Bay and surrounding cliffs and forms part of the Jurassic coast, England`s only natural World Heritage site.

About 6 miles north along the Axe Valley is the market town of Axminster with a mainline railway station operating services to London Waterloo and Exeter.

The delightful coastal town of Lyme Regis is just over 6 miles to the east. The accommodation, all measurements approximate, comprises: GROUND FLOOR Steps lead up to the front entrance.
