The housing association owns part of it - but you're living there, you decorate it, and you decide when to sell. Buying a percentage means a smaller deposit and smaller mortgage.

It's a sooner first step on the ladder for lots of people. Usually, you can also carry on buying shares, to own it 100%. The properties are sold on a 990 year shared ownership lease. Who qualifies?

Anyone who does not currently own or part own a property and has a household income of less than £80,000 per year can apply.

How to apply You can apply for one of our shared ownership homes by completing our application form. Please email completed forms to .
