Cranford Street, South Shields, NE34 0QN

FOR SALE BY WAY OF ONLINE AUCTION - ON 27th OF AUGUST 2026. Option 2. Terms and Conditions apply. See Agents Property Auctions Website for full details.

Located on the popular Cranford Street in West Harton, this deceptively spacious five bedroom end terrace house offers an excellent opportunity for buyers looking to create a substantial family home.

Ideally positioned for convenient access to South Tyneside Hospital, as well as the shops, amenities and Metro links found along Stanhope Road and Boldon Lane, the property is well placed for both commuters and families alike.

While the interior would benefit from a programme of modernisation, important external improvements have already been completed in recent years, including replacement windows and roof works, providing a solid foundation for further enhancement.

The property retains a wealth of charming period features across both the ground and first floors, adding character and appeal throughout.

Notable original details include decorative cornicing, ceiling roses, an elegant archway with embellishments, and original fireplaces in both the living room and principal front bedroom.

The rear yard benefits from two brick-built outbuildings. Formerly housing the outside toilet, these now provide excellent storage space.

The second outhouse building was the original wash house equipped with hot and cold water supplies and plumbing for a washing machine.

Externally, the property benefits from a low maintenance forecourt to the front and an enclosed yard to the rear.

Offered for sale with vacant possession, early viewing is highly recommended to appreciate the size and potential on offer.
