With an imprressive 128m2 (1,378ft2) of floor area, this is the largest of the apartments in the block. The real highlight of this stunning home is the amazing outside space.

The balcony wraps around the entire apartment and enjoys wonderful far reaching views in all directions and allows a different vista from every spot and the ability to follow the sun around the building at different times of the day.

There is plenty of space on the terrace to enjoy a morning coffee, an al-fresco meal, sunbathing, or simply sitting out watching the world go by and enjoying the great outdoors.

This superb apartment has an abundance of light-filled space, that would be perfect for those looking for easy low maintenance living without compromise.

Perfect as a permanent home or a lock-up-and-leave.

The accommodation comprises a large entrance hall which leads into the heart of the home - a fantastic 29ft x 26ft open plan kitchen/dining and living space which has three different sets of bi-folding doors giving direct access out onto the wrap around terrace.

The master bedroom is a private sanctuary, with sliding doors out onto the terrace and having its own well-appointed en suite shower room.

There are two further bedrooms as well as the family bathroom.

Each apartment has an allocated parking space in the secure ground level communal garage and there is direct lift access from there up to all floors within the apartment block.

The Apartments at Taw Wharf The ten purpose-built apartments at Taw Wharf offer an easier way to enjoy life by the river.

Ranging from one to three bedrooms, each has contemporary open-plan living, a private balcony or terrace, an allocated space in the secure integrated garage and step-free passenger lift access from parking to the apartment.

With Barnstaple’s shops and amenities nearby and outlooks across the development towards the town, river or countryside depending on the home, they are well suited to first-time buyers, professionals and downsizers seeking comfort, convenience and less maintenance.

The Final Chapter at Taw Wharf After the success of the previous phases, Taw Wharf has reached its final chapter.

Phase 5 represents the last opportunity to purchase a brand new home within this landmark riverside development, with just 13 properties forming the concluding release: Three townhouses and ten purpose-built apartments.

Once these homes are sold, the development is complete. Taw Wharf has always been about much more than simply buying a new home.

It is about enjoying a different way of life: Somewhere you can leave the car at home, walk into town, stroll or cycle beside the river, have shops and everyday essentials virtually on your doorstep, and return to a modern, comfortable and energy-efficient home designed to make life easier.

A Home That Gives You More Time to Enjoy Life For many buyers, particularly those considering downsizing, the attraction of a new home is the freedom that comes with having less to worry about.

No ageing roof to replace, no decades-old heating system and no large garden demanding every free weekend.

Instead, Phase 5 offers modern, purpose-built homes designed around contemporary living, with excellent insulation and energy-efficiency qualities, modern heating, double glazing and the reassurance of a 10-year NHBC Buildmark Warranty.

The apartment specification also includes underfloor heating, superfast fibre broadband and high-quality contemporary fixtures and fittings.

For someone moving from a larger family home, that can be genuinely liberating. You can retain the space, quality and comfort you want while reducing the maintenance responsibilities you do not.

It also makes Taw Wharf an appealing home for those who enjoy travelling or simply want to spend more time enjoying North Devon than maintaining their property.

Quality You Can See and Feel Built by award-winning local developer Pearce Homes, Phase 5 continues the high standard established throughout Taw Wharf.

Contemporary kitchens feature Bosch integrated appliances, induction hobs, Franke sinks and Hansgrohe fittings, while bathrooms combine Roca sanitaryware, Hansgrohe brassware and stylish contemporary finishes.

Specifications vary by property type, with the larger apartments including en suites and built-in wardrobes.

The result is a home that feels considered rather than simply new: Stylish enough to feel special, yet practical enough for everyday life.

Everything Close at Hand Taw Wharf sits beside the River Taw in the heart of Barnstaple, combining the convenience of town living with an open waterside setting.

Anchorwood Retail Park is immediately alongside, with asda and a gym close at hand, making everything from the weekly shop to a workout exceptionally convenient.

Cross the river and Barnstaple town centre is within an easy walk, putting its shops, cafés, restaurants, Pannier Market and other amenities close at hand.

For journeys further afield, there is convenient access towards the A361 North Devon Link Road and onwards towards Tiverton and the M5.

Step Outside and Onto the Tarka Trail The riverside setting gives immediate access to the Tarka Trail, opening up miles of walking and cycling through the North Devon landscape.

Everyday exercise need not involve getting into the car: Step outside, head along the river and walk, run or cycle for as little or as long as you choose.

For someone downsizing, that combination is particularly compelling: Town-centre convenience, the river and countryside, and less property maintenance when you get home.

For younger buyers and professionals, it offers a contemporary base from which work, shopping, leisure, socialising and the outdoors can all fit naturally into everyday life.
