Bridge Road, East Molesey

A quality three bedroom first floor apartment in sought after Kingfisher Court with lovely riverside gardens, as well as shared use of an outdoor swimming pool and tennis court.

Available with no onward chain. Kingfisher Court is a unique and much requested development of 60 apartments.

It really is a fine example of the 'Art Deco' period, designed by award winning architect Guy Morgan with literary references made by architectural historian Nikolaus Pevsner cbe.

It is protected with Grade II listed status by English Heritage.

Due to extensive restoration in recent years and the formation of an active Residents' Association (set up in 2001) this really is a desirable place to set up home.

We feel this apartment occupies one of the primary positions on the rear / south side of the development thus benefiting from elevated views over the River Mole (rear) and overlooking the tennis court and inner gardens, at the front.

This is one of only two apartments on the whole development with private balconies.

The single level accommodation is beautifully presented and offers a generous floor area extending to 96 m2 / 1,033 ft2.

Sympathetically modernised throughout, whilst retaining and adding lovely Art-Deco features; panelled doors and built-in cupboards, some with 'fluted glass' and Crittall windows are just some of the features on display.

The first impression when entering is a feeling of space and lovely interior decor which is very much in keeping with age and style of the building.

Off to left is a modern well equipped kitchen with quartz stone work tops, excellent storage and a full range of integrated appliances.

The kitchen enjoys a partial open plan arrangement to a lovely dining room with parquet flooring and window seat to soak-up the rear garden views over The Mole.

Opposite, you will find an inviting sitting room with feature curved window, fitted cabinets with shelving and an inset wood burner to the chimney breast.

To complete the accommodation, there are three good size bedrooms all with leafy views (the main bedroom with covered balcony) all supported by a quality fitted bathroom with shower over bath and a separate guest WC.
