We've tightened what earns a Pursue. A home now needs a published valuation, a strategy that still makes money after real running costs and lender stress tests, and no listing problems that would stop a mortgage. You'll see fewer Pursues, and each one has been checked harder.

About
A Spacious And Verstaile Three Bedroom Townhouse With A West Facing Garden In Tilehurst Owners Comments...
We bought the house in 2021 and, to be honest, it needed a complete overhaul when we moved in. We took on the work and have transformed it into the home it is today.
We removed the old warm air heating system and replaced it with a completely new heating system, redecorated throughout and fitted new carpets from top to bottom.
It was a big job, but it has made such a difference to the house.
We moved here from Fords Farm, specifically because of the schools in the area, and the Birds Estate has been a great place to call home.
The location has worked really well for us, with the schools, local amenities and some brilliant woodland walks all close by.
Having Pincents Hill at the end of the road and Sulham Woods a short walk away has been a real bonus. We will genuinely be sad to leave.
We have put a lot of work into the house and have made some great memories here, but we feel ready for our next home and our next challenge.
Hopefully, the next owners will enjoy living here as much as we have. Area Comments...
Starlings Drive is well positioned for anyone looking for a home with plenty of space, good local amenities and access to some lovely outdoor areas.
There are several schools nearby, including Springfield and St Paul's Catholic primary school, along with Little Heath secondary school.
For anyone who enjoys getting out for a walk, Pincents Hill woodland is at the end of the road, with paths leading through towards Calcot Recreation Ground.
Sulham Woods is also a short walk away, giving you plenty of options to enjoy the countryside close to home.
The Fox and Hounds pub is nearby too, while Tilehurst village centre offers local shops and everyday amenities.
The location is also practical for commuting, with easy access to Reading town centre and Junction 12 of the M4. It is a really useful combination of local facilities, green space and transport links.
Ryan & Sanjay Comments... Having lived here, I have always really appreciated the amount of space the house offers.
With three floors, there is plenty of room to spread out, and the layout gives you different areas to use depending on what you need.
The kitchen diner and living room are separate, which works really well, and the additional storage room on the ground floor is something that has always been useful.
The garden is another feature I have always loved, particularly during the summer months.
Being west facing means you get the afternoon and evening sun, and the large patio is a great spot to sit outside and enjoy it.
The garden is tiered, giving it a bit of character, and it feels private as it isn't overlooked. The driveway is also a real plus, with space for two cars side by side and the integral garage.
Between the garage, utility cupboard, basement store room and the storage throughout the house, there is plenty of room for all the things you don't necessarily want on show.
For me, the location has always been a big part of living here.
Having woodland walks so close by, local schools within easy reach and straightforward access to Tilehurst village, Reading and the M4 makes it a really practical place to call home.
