4, Church Street, St. Just, TR19 7HA

Description Originally built in the 17th century, this spectacular property in the heart of St Just is believed to have once been an original inn for the town before the Kings Arms was built in the 18th century.

The property certainly retains the charm of such an historic building with typically lower ceilings on the ground floor, timber sash windows, and two large fireplaces in each of the ground floor receptions; one housing a Cornish Range.

The property is Grade-ii listed understandably.

Through the central front door, you enter via an entrance porch in to the spacious hallway that leads off in several different directions, but primarily off to either of the large reception rooms at the front.

The larger of the rooms is well-lit naturally with a total of four timber sash windows that have secondary double glazing. There is a well-preserved Cornish Range sitting in the fireplace here.

The second reception, across the hallway, has a large exposed granite fireplace that has an open fire with various nooks and shelves in-built for storage or decorations.

Timber sash windows to the front give immediate views of St Just's 15th century church.

At the rear of the property is a good-size kitchen with solid wood units, with some dresser-style shelving, a ceramic Belfast sink and a Nobel cooking range.

A timber, stable door leads out to a fully enclosed courtyard garden that is deceptively spacious and extends out to a covered and entirely private seating area.

There is a family bathroom on the ground floor with a freestanding roll-top bath, as well as a utility room off the kitchen that offers a second WC and a separate shower for convenience.

On the first floor, the character and space continues with three double bedrooms; two of which are large with built-in wardrobes, but all having glorious views out to the church.

A smaller door off the landing leads through to a further space with alarge Velux rooflight - this space could be an office or hobby room, but is more than likely just fantastic storage with further access in to the eaves of the attic also.

Location St Just is a very popular town with a thriving community and a varied mix of busy shops and businesses.
