The restoration includes the removal of the existing pebble-dash to reveal the original stonework, which is being carefully repaired and restored to complement the historic character of the building.

The property also benefits from a completely replaced slate roof, with new windows forming part of the refurbishment.

A particularly impressive element of the redevelopment is the substantial new single-storey extension, which will accommodate a generous open plan kitchen / dining / family room, designed to become the principal living and entertaining space of the completed home.

The original cottage retains its individual reception accommodation, allowing for a separate lounge and study, providing the flexibility increasingly sought by families and those working from home.

The proposed completed accommodation will comprise three reception Rooms, Four Bedrooms, a ground floor shower room and first floor family bathroom.

However, it is the exceptional location that truly distinguishes Pond House.

Opportunities to purchase an extensively renovated period property of this size, with contemporary family accommodation, within such easy walking distance of Magor Square are comparatively uncommon.

For Purchasers seeking the character and atmosphere of the original village, rather than a conventional modern housing development, Pond House presents a particularly compelling opportunity.
