Montgomery Street, Victoria Park, BS3 4SE

"We love living next to Victoria Park.

We have made so many great memories there, be it our Friday tennis matches and post match pints and pizza from the Oxford and Florences in Totterdown, summer picnics and drinks in the park with friends or simply just getting way from work for 10 minutes at lunch to clear our heads.

We love the open plan dining and living room which has been great for hosting all of our friends for dinner parties and celebrations." This home Tucked away on a colourful Victorian terrace just moments from Victoria Park, this beautifully presented two-bedroom home perfectly balances period charm with bold contemporary style.

The house offers a warm, welcoming feel throughout, with vibrant interiors, generous proportions and a layout that works brilliantly for modern living.

The ground floor begins with a cosy front living room with high ceilings and large windows.

To the rear, the spacious dining room is the heart of the home, comfortably accommodating family meals, entertaining friends or working from home.

Beyond sits the separate kitchen, fitted with storage and worktop space, while the tasteful bathroom is positioned at the rear of the property.

Upstairs are two generous double bedrooms, each offering plenty of space for wardrobes and additional furniture.

The main bedroom spans the full width of the house, while the second bedroom enjoys a similarly spacious feel, making the property equally suited to first-time buyers, professional couples or those needing a guest room or home office.

Outside The private rear garden is low maintenance with a raised area and flowerbeds.

Living in Victoria Park The area has a wonderful feeling of community, most evident on sunny days with the park bustling with neighbours and visitors alike.

The area is central to many community events such as ‘Art on the Hill’, which happens one a year.

This is also an area ideal for commuters both within Bristol and to the cities beyond through the trains at nearby Temple Meads or the local Bedminster station, just the other side of the park.

The local primary school, Victoria Park, is well thought of locally and along with St Mary Redcliffe (in the park), has enhanced the appeal of this area and nearby Windmill Hill for young families.

Within easy walking distance are gastro-pubs such as the Victoria Park and Star and Dove, brilliant community owned pubs such as The Rising Sun, cafes such as the Sundial Kitchen, fruit and vegetable sellers such as The Banana Boat, bakeries and grocers such as Bristol Loaf and Hugo’s, and many other shops and restaurants.

Only a short bike-ride away are the music venues, theatres, cocktail bars, and other amenities of North Street in Southville, Wapping Wharf, and the City Centre.

Yet this location is quiet and peaceful. For those looking for green space, there are few, if any, better places in Bristol.

Victoria Park itself offers approximately 50 acres of large open space with fantastic views of the city. There is also a child’s play area and a marked running route for joggers.

Perrett’s Park, with its beautiful views, is only just up the hill towards Knowle, whilst Arnos Vale Cemetery offers winding paths and interesting stories, in an area where it’s easy to feel distant from the city buzz.
