Garner Way, Fleckney, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE8 8EL

'The Henley' built by highly respected builders David Wilson is a substantial and imposing five bedroom detached family home.

Already, David Wilson's largest and most prestigious property design within this development, the current owners have undertaken a plethora of upgrades, refits and exterior landscaping resulting in one of the most extensively modified recently built homes we have ever seen and sets it apart from anything we have ever been invited out to see.

Situated on the outskirts of Fleckney and occupying a corner plot on the periphery of the development, the home is a masterclass in modern design and exudes a quality of finish and character not found in a variety of modern homes no matter who the developer.

The accommodation is spacious, versatile and will offer appeal to those families who are looking for something beyond special.

The home enjoys views over open countryside to the front and is well placed for amenities within the village of Fleckney and is only a short drive to the larger centres of Leicester or Market Harbourough.

Access to the home is via a composite front door that opens to a generous entrance, where the first of the enhancements is immediately noticed.

A stunning Oak flooring greets you which you realise runs throughout the entire home both upstairs and down.

A further decorative detail is the addition of stylish half panelled walls that again continues up the stairs.

Off the entrance hall is a large cloakroom/storage cupboard, a ground floor WC and doors through to lounge, dining room and kitchen diner.

The lounge is a stunning dual aspect space with a bay window to the front elevation and a set of French patio doors with floor to ceiling windows either side that fill the room with plenty of natural light.

The main focal point of the room is a stunning living flame electric fire spanning the full width of a central media wall.

The proportions make it an ideal room to entertain family and friends but cosy and intimate enough to enjoy a relaxing night indoors.

The dining room is located on the other side of the entrance hall and, like the lounge, is a dual aspect space with a bay window to the front and a further window to the side.

All of the windows throughout the home have been fitted with bespoke shutter blinds which are another quality detail made by the owners.

The dining room has ample space for a large table and chairs for those more formal occasions. For families with younger children the dining room could also be used as a play or games room if required.

Despite, the fact the dining room and lounge are so beautifully finished, the real feature space of the ground floor is a magnificent kitchen diner and family room that again has been completely refitted well above any standard specification.

The kitchen area includes an extensive range of base and wall mounted soft close units and solid quartz work surfaces with inset sink.

There is an integral five ring induction hob with extractor hood over, built-in double electric oven, integrated fridge and freezer as well as a dishwasher.

The dining/family can comfortably accommodate a breakfast table and chairs as well as an assortment of lounge furniture, making it the heart of the home and again is ideal for those large social gatherings.

A feature floor to ceiling bay windows with French patio doors provides access to the garden.

Off the kitchen diner is a separate utility room with further matching base and wall mounted units and quartz work surfaces.

There is an additional stainless-steel sink and drainer and space and plumbing for a washing machine and tumble dryer. The current owners use one of these spaces for a wine/drinks cooler.

A back door provides a third access point to the patio and back garden. Upstairs is just as gorgeous and opulent as the ground floor.

The principal bedroom is the largest of the five is another dual aspect room with windows to both side elevations, fitted with matching shutter blinds.

The room benefits from built-in wardrobes and a fantastic en-suite shower room.

The second bedroom looks over open fields to the front and has another window to the side and enjoys fitted wardrobes and an en-suite that mirrors the one found in the main bedroom.

The third double bedroom overlooks the garden and has a fitted wardrobe.

The fourth bedroom, which is also double, are used by the current owners as a cinema room set up for family movie nights with the capacity to hold four extremely comfortable looking chairs and foot stools.

The fifth bedroom, which is the smallest is used as a dressing room with space for two large wardrobes and a dressing table.

The wardrobe in this bedroom could easily be relocated to the fourth bedroom should any family require wardrobes in that room.

These rooms highlight the versatility of use and could easily be used as office or study space, hobby/music rooms if not required as bedrooms day-to-day.

Finally, there is a well-appointed family bathroom which comprises a four piece white suite to include a large walk-in shower cubicle, double ended bath, low flush WC and pedestal wash hand basin and decoratively finished to match the two en-suites.

The exterior of the home is just as impressive as its interior.

To the front and side of the home a private driveway, only shared by the immediate neighbour, provides off-road parking for a fleet of up to ten vehicles as well as direct car access to a detached double garage which has light and power.

The home also an EV charging point.

The current owners have invested heavily in extensive planting both to the front, rear and side of the property that create majestic borders that provide colour, structure and maturity without the feeling you must be a budding Monty Don or Alan Titchmarsh to maintain them.

At the rear is a private a partly walled garden which includes a bespoke cabin outbuilding that has been erected by the current owners and used as a gym.

The cabin is fully insulated, has light, power and internet connection and therefore could be used as a working space if required.

The garden also has a large decked patio seating area with plenty of space for an array of outside furniture. The patio is sheltered by a pergola type structure over it.

The remaining garden includes a lawn, shingle pathways and well stocked planted borders. This remarkable family home demands serious consideration from any buyer looking for something extra special.

The space, presentation and quality of finish is extraordinary and internal viewing is essential to truly appreciate every detail.
